In the unpredictable Midwest, it’s hard to tell when Spring actually starts. The deep freeze of Winter passes, and then we have a morning with ice crystals flying through the air. We are wise enough to know that Spring is indeed coming. It’s exact arrival date is squishy. In April, my mind turns to Spring clothes! This year I’m focused on Spring jackets and sandals.

Take a peek at some of my favorites!

Next I look down at my feet and notice: (a) I could use a pedicure and (b) Last year’s sandals have seen better days. It’s time to search for something new and fresh!

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.
