How to Make Your Business Seem More Legitimate

It’s easy to start a business, especially in this day and age. Indeed, you can be up and running in next to no time at all. However, while starting a business might be easy enough, it won’t all be straightforward — indeed, building a successful business is very difficult indeed. One problem that small, new businesses encounter is that they’re not always seen as legitimate in the eyes of the public. But that doesn’t have to be the case. Below, we take a look at some tried and tested methods for making your business appear more legitimate to your customers.

Take it Seriously

You have to set the tone for your business. If you’re not going to take it seriously, then no-one else will either. It’s understandable that you’d be a little bashful about your company, since it is, indeed, just you there. But if you continually doubt the legitimacy of the venture, then you’re only going to end up hurting your business. Treat it as a serious proposition, and you’ll find that things will be much easier. You can do this by setting up a set working place, having a professional morning routine, and also acting as if big things are on the horizon.

Outsource Tasks

You can’t blame people for having doubts about a company when there’s only one person working there. There’s safety in numbers — it gives the impression that you’re getting access to multiple minds, rather than just one. But of course, you won’t have money in the budget to hire other minds on a full-time basis. As such, it’s recommended that you look at outsourcing certain tasks. Having other individuals and businesses handle your marketing, law and tax matters, and your communication will present the illusion that you’re a much bigger company than you really are.

Get the Look

We live in the age of the spectacle; everything is all about presentation. If you look the part, then you probably are the part. Let’s not forget that people are increasingly likely to make a snap judgement, and they’re not going off much more than just appearances. So make sure what they see creates a favorable impression. A good web design company can make your website look sleek, modern, and reputable. You’ll also want to visit physicaladdress.com/; there, you can get a professional looking mailing address. It’s much better than using your home’s address!

Avoid Obvious Errors

Sometimes, a business owner can do more or less everything right, but then undo much of their good work by committing simple errors. These are to be avoided. Things like having spelling mistakes on your website, conveying an unprofessional tone on your social media channels, or presenting yourself in clothing that is too casual are all common mistakes.

Dream Big and Believe

Finally, you’ll need to dream big if you’re going to present yourself as legitimate. People are always drawn to people and companies that are going places. So plot a path towards success, and live by your high standards.

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
