Join an Online Tech Community

There are lots of tech communities online that you can become a part of when you want to learn something new and generally become a more tech savvy person. You should make the most of that and do everything you can to make yourself part of those communities. You’ll learn from people who know a lot more about this stuff than you and you’ll have a chance to make new friends too.

Take a Class

There are also options, such as taking classes that you might want to take advantage of if you’re keen to make sure that you learn quickly from people who know what they’re doing. These classes can really open your eyes and show you a whole new world of options and possibilities. Classes are available in all kinds of varying tech niches.

When There’s a Problem, Learn and Deal with it Yourself

When you have a problem with your technology, why not try to learn how to fix it yourself rather than letting someone else take care of it for you? There are lots of ways to learn and teach yourself new things. The following guide might help you to fix a problem you’re having with an old email account: https://setapp.com/how-to/delete-google-account-and-gmail-on-mac. There are many such examples out there.

Take Steps That’ll be Beneficial in Your Life and Career

Of course, you can’t learn everything and that’s why you should focus on learning things that are beneficial to your career or your life in someway. These are the things that matter most and you should do what you can to improve them. Set your priorities and learn the things that are going to be most important to you. There’s nothing more important than that.

Never Stop Learning

Finally, you should remember that this is a continual process and you should never stop learning when it comes to tech. There’s always new stuff for you to pick up on and understand, so don’t stop finding out new ways to use tech to your advantage. There’s so much more out there to discover and that won’t change.

There’s no reason why you can’t become a more tech savvy person, even if you’ve always been somewhat averse to new technology and tech trends. You only start learning and improving your skills when you really throw yourself into it, so make the most of the tips and ideas that we discussed above if you want to become a more tech savvy person.

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
