How Apartment Redevelopment Can Change Your Town

Towns large and small are seeing a need for increased housing and lower housing costs and solutions seem hard to come by. One big way towns can help change the way they look and function is with apartment redevelopment. This process can help revitalize downtown areas, increase housing availability and even reduce traffic in the city center.

Revitalize Downtown

Apartment redevelopment is when an existing structure is redeveloped into an apartment complex. This does not always mean tearing the old structure down, however, as some registered historical sites will just need some minor work that can be approved by the appropriate bodies. Real estate professionals, like Steven Taylor, can help you determine which buildings in your town are the best candidates for redevelopment and turn an unused space into a thriving community.

Increase Housing Availability

Having the right types and amounts of housing is important in any town, especially ones with high rates of homelessness and expensive rental fees. Increasing housing availability is as much about building the right kinds of apartments, condos and houses as it is about making those spaces affordable to live in. An experienced landlord can help set rates which are both competitive and affordable for the area.

Reduce Traffic

Revitalizing your town can help with economic growth while still reducing vehicle traffic in the area. Making it easier to walk to your favorite stores, to work or to activities can reduce the need for vehicles and parking spaces in your town while the savings that your residents see from gas prices frees up more funding to visit struggling stores and entertainment venues.

Apartment redevelopment can help your town, large or small, see a boost in economic growth and a reduction in homelessness. It can also increase housing availability across the board and reduce traffic in the city center.

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
