I’m done with my DIY decorating – for now.
Over the past two weeks, I have organized, repaired and painted a kitchen, dining room, large living room, hall, and downstairs bathroom.
Then I steam cleaned everything in sight. What remains to be done is to re-hang decorations and pictures and paint bathroom cabinet fronts. These old wrists need a break, but soon I’ll be working on our bedroom and the upstairs bathroom.
Child4 has been a great help. Here he is making swords out of icicles. They are all melting here in the
midwest and we are thinking about gardening again!
Our kitchen/dining area is a big area. Not a lot of light, so I went really light on colors.
We have some boring beige tiles over the sink so I found something fun to liven them up a bit.
These are called tile stickers and there are lots of possibilities to bring some color to a drab area. You can find them here: http://www.amazon.com/Wallies-Stick-Sheet-Decals-Medley/dp/B004NNULGS/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1425913939&sr=1-3&keywords=tile+stickers
For now, got to get back to the keyboard until the muse strikes for the next project.
That’s what’s new at the Field House. Got any plans for your spring decorating?
