My front door stays pretty bare for most of the year. But when fall rolls around, watch out!
Over the years, I have made or purchased fall wreaths to welcome those who visit my home. This year is no exception.

I hunted around for some fresh, attainable projects for this year and present them here for your inspiration.

Let’s get fall crafting!

A Polka Dot Fall Wreath DIY –

Greet guests — and the impending (and oh-so-welcome) sweater weather with an unexpectedly awesome fall wreath! Polka dots may not be the pattern you typically think of when you hear “autumn”, but after you scope out this simple and sweet fall wreath DIY, you just might change your mind…

A Fall-Inspired Felted Succulent Wreath

In looking for a non-traditional take on a fall wreath, this year I went with something completely different, felted succulents made from wool sweaters. This DIY wreath is easy to make and can be brought out every year to mark the changing of the seasons. Warm up to autumn this year with a cozy fall wreath made from thrifted sweaters.

Make a Pretty DIY Fall Wreath out of a Spring Wreath

I might have bought concrete pumpkins today.

I might have started to decorate for fall.

Okay, I just couldn’t wait any longer!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, and even though it’s 80 degrees here in Westchester, NY, I just had to run to the craft store when I saw those concrete pumpkins advertised on sale.

Plus, I had a nifty idea for a DIY fall wreath and needed a few supplies.

I should’ve taken a picture of my shopping cart filled to the top with fake pumpkins.

Instead, I literally raced home to make this fall wreath out of our spring wreath.

A Quick and Easy DIY Fall Scarf Wreath

A Quick And Easy DIY Fall Scarf Wreath using an inexpensive knock off plaid Burberry scarf, buttons, and burlap. My goal for making this wreath was that it had to be made with things found around the house. That wasn’t a difficult task considering I keep everything! Alternatively, everything could be purchased inexpensively at a thrift store and/or dollar store.

Hey there, it’s me Sara again from Twelve On Main!  I’m excited to be here once again contributing!  I’ve been so busy working on home decor and DIY projects for fall and I am excited to bring you one of my favorite projects today, a DIY fabric wreath for fall.

This is a really easy project to create.

How to Make a DIY Fall Flower Wreath

I used to design a door wreath by buying all of the cute flower picks I like and then figuring out what to do with them after I got home.  That almost always lead to me making something I wasn’t happy with because it often looked like a Hodge Podge of unsymmetrical stuff that didn’t always coordinate in color, size or texture.

Because I bought a Hodge Podge of unsymmetrical stuff that didn’t always coordinate in color, size or texture for the project and didn’t think about them beyond, “How pretty! I’m buying it!”

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
