Are you headed out for next season’s clothing shopping?
Wait!!
Before you go, practice some clothing organization. It’s time to clean out the closets and take stock of what’s there.
I was blessed to be a full-time mom for many years when my kiddos were little. Going from two incomes to one was a shock and I challenged myself to be as frugal (how frugal is she? she waits for the thrift stores to issue coupons before she shops) as possible so we could be together. It is a decision I have never regretted.
With four children, clothing stacks up! if you don’t regularly weed through it, it forms mountains on closet floors and makes everyone cranky on Sunday mornings when you’re trying to get everyone out the door with decent church clothes on.
Before you buy another article, take stock. Do some clothing organization. Set aside some special time with each child. Sort, note, recycle and prepare. This keeps you from over-buying for the season and forces you to clean out at least once or twice a year.

Here’s to keeping it simple, Mama.
