Career Options That Can Actually Match Your Personality?

Spread the love

Unfortunately, many people burn through decades of their lives before finding out what they actually want to do. It’s kind of rare to ever match personality with passion. We tend to follow careers that we think and or know are more financially beneficial for us. You may be a person that absolutely loves art. In your spare time, you visit every museum and gallery you possibly can, you want to explore every inch of the art industry. But by day, you work as a stockbroker. Chances are, you’re not as satisfied as you could be. If only you knew what career options there are for the type of personality you have. It would make so much more sense to go to work where you’re quite literally in your natural state of mind, you don’t have to ‘get into the zone’, so to speak.

Wanting fairness to prevail

Maybe you’re the type of person that is really annoyed whenever you see unfairness in the world. No matter what level it’s at, unfairness is something that can change your perspective on people and life. Rarely do you find careers where fairness is at the absolute core function of the field. However, the legal industry is the most intoxicating part of life if you possess a personality of wanting to restore order. Becoming a lawyer, barrister or attorney is something you should consider. Of course, any road to success is long, but if you positively need to seek justice in your daily life, this is a great career field.

If you would like to seek something less intense, you can pursue a career as a sports referee. Referees play the most important role in any sport, as they conduct the flow of action and enforce the rules in real-time. Making judgements quickly in testing but very rewarding.

Helping others improve

If you would like to help improve people’s lives, you won’t be at any shortage of career options. Nursing is right at the top for people who want to be a part of improving the health of others. Becoming a certified nurse can be achieved a number of ways. You can go to a nursing college where you will receive full-time education and practical training. You can take a part-time course at a university or college. You can take a distance-learning course that’s 100% online. You could gain an apprenticeship from a hospital for trainee nurses.

If however, you would like to help professionals improve their skills and adapt to the working environment, taking a course in human resource management would get you well on your way. Consider the University of Alabama Birmingham which also has a 100% online course in this field, so you can carry on working full-time. They have a 24/7 technical help desk, so if you’re working late and have an issue with the system, you’re not on your own. With an HR degree under your belt, you’ll be able to work in any industry.

We must all try harder to find careers that match our personality. The issue is we’re not fully aware of the options we have.

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
