If you are not in a position to do a total renovation in your home, you could change some essential items to transform the area or room. There are many ways to spruce up space by adding new textures, colors, or switching up the main feature of the room. This guide will share multiple items that can make a room or area more exciting while giving it a fresh lease of life.

Often with buying new household items such as furniture can include worry of shipping and transporting your purchasing to your home. The best way to move items from one place to another is to use a household goods shipping company. They can take the weight off your shoulders, allowing you to make space for your new item. They can also be an excellent option for when you are moving house.

Switching up the sofa.

Your sofa often ends up being the heart of the home, because it’s the place where the whole family can gather together and get comfy. It draws your eye immediately as you enter the room as it’s a big piece of furniture. Opting for a statement color or texture can bring the whole room together and make the room look alive with energy. You could even match it to another statement piece in the room, such as an armchair or curtains to compliment one another.

Adding a Summerhouse.

The back of the garden can sometimes be something we forget about. Still, they can be the best place for a Summerhouse to either relax and unwind from a long day or turned into an office or playroom for the children to be away from the main house. There are endless designs with double doors and design opportunities to make it a beautiful place for you to enjoy the sun without being in a direct line.

New doors can make a world of difference.

Throughout the house, changing up your doors can make a massive difference in multiple ways. If you struggle with light in a room, then adding a door with windows can add texture without the need to install extra windows that can be a big job. Otherwise, there are exciting designs around that can add a bit of personality to a room without looking tacky.

Introducing new storage units.

You can never have enough storage, so introducing bigger units that will fit from floor to ceiling can avoid wasting space. You can hide the things you don’t need every day behind closed doors. You can get these in the same style and colors as each room to blend in, or you could opt for a vivid color to make it a statement.

Have a new room with a campervan.

If you require a new room in the house, then having a campervan can be an extra space for older children while being an option for a road trip. Often the idea of buying one from afar and getting it delivered can be worrying, but having it shipped can take the weight off your shoulders.

Hi, I’m Christine

Have you been a wholehearted mother, but time, toddlers and teenagers have moved on? If you are wondering what comes next for you, you’ll feel right at home here.

Or, are you a mom for whom family life has been non-Pinworthy and parenting has been downright painful? I hear ya. There are many of us around.

Are you looking for a life full of exploration and adventure after the nest empties, but maybe you have no idea how to go about doing that? Stick around! We’ll explore adventures together to help you gain more clarity for your own path.

After a couple decades of writing books and articles about parenting, homeschooling and adoption, speaking to homeschoolers and other parent groups, and reaching out to the mom in the trenches who was trying to make the best of it - my kids grew up. Some grew up and grew away. I was determined to find a way out of the pain, emptiness and lack of direction.

For many of us, the journey starts with something we moms are not accustomed to. After years of caring for and serving others, sometimes we forget the beauty and wonder of US. We need to spend some time getting to know the parts of ourselves that have lain dormant, and take the time to explore interests and passions that we set aside.

I’d like to invite you to get the “What’s Next for Mom” workbook and jump into this growing tribe of Moms who are emptying the nest and filling the life! Let’s reignite your Mojo after Mothering!
